Flunn Kit planes is working on marketing a backpack balloon. That is it will carry 1 or 2 people and still fit into a backpack when folded up again. no ground crew required.
aerodesic is doing the R&D and so far the envelope needs constant patching and it isn't ready for listing with sharper image yet, but we will post here when it's ready. The good news is that it does not require helium or heavy gas tanks to work. The bad is that it only works in good weather and VFR.
