Recently I read a post about science fiction describing the possibility of all commercial aircraft fleet vanishing. Of course it was a fantasy, but the discussion raised an interesting issue.
In the age of global warming Airships can offer a cleaner alternative when vapour trails are concerned. Maybe a little effort can be made to check the possibilities in this mode of transportation.
