We had an emergency balloon landing in our back yard. You can imagine how shocked we were when we looked out the back window...the first thing I did was run for the camera. There were sirens from the fire truck and chase truck. Everyone was safe and sound....but it was a big thing in our little subdivision!!! talk of the town and school for a week! didn't quite know who to share this with and my husband mentioned that balloon groups might be interested Check it out http://www.gatherround.com/ u52330a60186pTravel2000.invt Lois OH aka Travel Bug (course didn't have to travel anywhere for this

Can't, apparently, without 'Username for 60186' and a password.

Martin, I was able to just click on it and it 'popped up'. Hope you can get it to work. Good luck! Kimberly

Are you sure it was an emergency? Large (and around here sometimes not-so-large <g> back yards are a common enough landing spot for us. Sometimes, however, a neighbor, trying to be helpful, sees the large flame emanating from the burner and calls the fire department to report a balloon 'emergency' or a balloon 'crashing' or 'in trouble' which is rarely if ever the case. To the uninitiated, balloon landings (and their locations) can cause the whole thing to appear like a 'crash'.
