Hot Air Ballooning related information

Hi all,

Could somebody tell me where I can find the following information:

1. How to build a hot air balloon from scratch? Where can I find manufacturers that build ballon parts or build the whole balloon?

2. Are there any books/websites out there that covers building and flying a hot air balloon? I did a search at Amazon.com, all the books that came out are kids books.

3. Is there any hot air ballooning event in San Francisco Bay Area?
