I am look ing for video of ballooning

The last Real TV ballooning video I saw showed the results of a 12-pax balloon running into wires. One dead and several seriously injured. Interviews with the suffering survivors, poor victims of that terrible underregulated aviation sport. That does wonders for the popularity of balloon flight, not to mention the public's impression of the vast majority of balloonists. The closing segment said something to the effect of '...And the company which flew that balloon is no longer in business.'

Thank you, but NO Mr. real TV, we have no interest in supporting your sick sense of seeking money. Fellow balloonists, I uge you to forget sending any video to Real TV.

Not to mention the fact that the 'facts' as presented by the tv media are seldom the truth, the whole truth and nothing but...

You should always tell the truth; you just don't always have to be telling it.

Actually this is a great opportunity to present positive ballooning stories to the world. Got some footage of couples getting engaged and/or married? 80 year olds having their first balloon flight, nudist balloning, skydiving from one.

There are lots of aspects which can be presented to Real TV. If you don't give them the footage that's good, they'll only ever run with the bad, so make a pre-emptive strike and get in first. Stage it or recreate it if you have to, but a positive factual story is in your hands.

Me? I've always got my hands full crewing to even get the Hi8 out of the car.
