I turned my ankle when landing a hang glider and decided to buy a pair of super-strong flight boots. I bought a set of Hanwag 'Fly 2000' paragliding boots. They are the typical purple/green paraglider colors, european size #9(US Size #10) #556 stamped inside printing. Bottom of sole sez: Skywalk Soft(R). Side has metal tab indicating 'Gore-Tex'. Metal lace loops and velcro top.
I put them on and walked around the launch area. They felt like maximum foot protection but also felt too stiff for safe foot launching a hang glider. I put them in the closet and never have flown with them. As I remember, they cost me around $285- USD. I would consider any reasonable offer. I am in the process of photographing and scanning. Minor corrections:
-Base color grey suede with teal and green trim
-Check dealer familiar with euro/US sizing. Euro 9 may be 9-1/2 or 10 US.
