Oh Yeh, well.......
I remember when i was a kid, the snow was so deep we had to take the hood off an old car, flip it upside down, and put the propane tanks and basket on it. Then we'd tie the crown line to the hood and drag it through the field to get it to the road.
And I can STILL remember watching Doug Mills, at Duluth MN in 1976, warn his propane tanks by taking his burner, and blasting the tank with the fire from his burner. he other 10 balloonists on the launch area watched in awe, and then carefully backed away, thinking about what they were seeing.
