I read that the Zeppelin-NT company is in a process of opening an operation center in San Francisco.
This company operates in Germany and offers tours in the Zeppelin.
Zeppelin offers 30- to 60-minute sight-seeing tours, flying at heights between 500 and 1000 feet. It charges teh equivalent of a few hundred dollars per person, with a capacity of 12 passengers. Bringing something like this to the USA and operating it somewhere scenic sounds like an absolutely fantastic idea, both in the positive sense and as in “pure fantasy.
Sounds like something worth a ride and for those of you who are curious this is what it looks like

They’re here, I’ve seen their craft in real life. It’s still a high-end luxury at $495 per person for a 1 hour flight, but I’m glad a few people are still up for it to finance this beautiful ship. Hope they see enough business to buy a second ship!

Yeah, I am not sure that this is the economy for that - but I do wish them the best of luck.
We flew with them in LA (out of Longbeach). It was WONDERFUL!!!
