We stumbled on the Festival de Montgolfieres in Saint Jean Sur Richelieu, Canada this past week and after two visits finally got to see our first mass ascent of hot air balloons. My wife was even taken with it so I'd like to fan her interest by getting our hands on some ballooning mags. (Even though I just got my private pilot license for powered planes she's not taken with that.) I combed magazine shops in Montreal and didn't find any ballooning mags. I found the Balloon Life Mag website which had some subscription info.

What are the good ballooning mags and are there any websites or other ways I can find subscription info for them? (None of the avaiation mags at the large bookstores I've visited even mention ballooning.)

Also is there any way to find out about ballooning organizations in my area (Milwaukee, WI). I'll make some cold calls to the people who advertise rides in the yellow pages if that's the best way to go.

Thanks very much!
